Italics: A View from the Bridge and Calandra Celebrates 40 Years!

On this episode Dr. Joseph Sciorra interviews Claire Beckman, the producing artistic director and lead actress in A View from the Bridge, Arthur Miller’s play that revolves around an Italian American family. It premiered at New York’s Coronet Theatre in 1955.

The play returned recently to Red Hook, where the action is set, in the Brave New World Repertory Theatre production, which had its run at the Waterfront Museum barge from September 12 to October 6, 2019.
